Australia Set to Support Palestinian Statehood at UN in September, According to Prime Minister

Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese stated on Monday that before recognizing a Palestinian state, agreements must be in place ensuring that commitments and assurances delivered by the Palestinian Authority, including the exclusion of any involvement by the Islamist militant group Hamas in a future state, are met.
