In 2024, France had the honor of hosting over 100 million visitors, a remarkable achievement in terms of tourism. Despite the large influx of tourists, however, the country has seen surprisingly minimal weariness or resistance from the locals, usually a common occurrence when places are besieged by such vast crowds.
