In Anchorage, Alaska, a key meeting is set to take place on Friday between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. As France 24 correspondent Wassim Cornet reports, the two leaders are expected to discuss potential ceasefire plans for Ukraine. Trump, who assured Ukraine and its allies of his commitment to ending the conflict, has however tempered expectations, suggesting that there’s a 25 percent chance of no tangible outcomes from their discussions.
