PSG secures a triumphant opening in the Lille 1 league by defeating Nantes.

The French Ligue 1 title champions, PSG, successfully defended their title by securing a 1-0 win against Nantes. The sole goal of the game was scored by Vitinha, coming from an effort just outside the penalty area and deflecting off an opponent, with mere 25 minutes left on the clock. Besides this, Brest and Lille had an intense match which ended in an electrifying 3-3 draw. Marking his return to the Ligue 1 after 13 years, Lille’s forward Olivier Giroud was among the scorers.
