Conflict

• Ukrainian missile and drone strikes killed two and injured 21 in Yenakiyeve, an industrial city, as reported by Denis Pushilin, the Russia-installed governor of occupied areas in Ukraine’s Donetsk region. The assault resulted in damage to several buildings in the city and neighboring Horlivka.

• Reuters reported that Russia attacked a gas compressor station critical for storing fuel for winter heating, escalating their assaults despite the U.S. push for a resolution.

• Andrei Belousov, Russian Defence Minister, visited the “north” group of forces in Ukraine, where he received an update on the battle situation from Zvezda, the Ministry of Defence’s official news outlet.

• Russian large-scale attacks across various parts of Ukraine overnight demonstrated Moscow’s unwillingness to negotiate an end to the over three-year-long war, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
