The United States Defense Intelligence Agency’s Director, Lieutenant General Jeffrey Kruse, has been dismissed, marking another high-ranking military official to be removed from office during US President Donald Trump’s tenure. This decision comes after the agency’s initial evaluation of the damage inflicted by American airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities disagreed with President Trump’s assertions that the targets had been “obliterated”.
