The Ukrainian Naval Band collaborated with the Band of the Scots Guards to showcase a performance at Buckingham Palace in commemoration of Ukraine’s Independence Day. The two bands performed in synchronization during the changing of the guard on Monday, with the Scots Guards donning their emblematic red uniforms and furry hats, while the Ukrainian navy appeared in white attire. The event held added significance as it followed Ukraine’s Independence Day on August 24, which has become increasingly important since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. Sharing the moment on social media, the UK’s Ministry of Defence expressed their unwavering support for Ukraine, stating, “We stand by you, Ukraine. Now and always.”
