International community decides to conclude peacekeeping mission in Lebanon after almost 50 years

The longstanding peacekeeping body, UNIFIL, has been integral in keeping watch over the safety situation in south Lebanon for many years, especially amidst the Israel-Hezbollah conflict of last year.
