Bosnia announces election to succeed banned Serb Republic leader Milorad Dodik

The decision came after Dodik was found to have violated several orders issued by the international peace envoy. Although Dodik has denounced the elections as “meaningless” and foresees widespread protests in the Serb-majority territory, the event is set to replace him as president.
