European Union’s automakers from Europe urge Brussels to maintain their commitment towards achieving the 2035 objective of zero emissions.

More than 150 executives from Europe’s electric car industry, representing companies like Volvo Cars and Polestar, have called on the EU to maintain its 2035 goal for zero-emission vehicles for cars and vans. They cautioned that any postponement could impede Europe’s electric vehicle market, provide an edge to international competitors, and diminish investor trust.
