Employee concerns over AI persist despite Starmer’s efforts to boost adoption, poll reveals | Artificial intelligence (AI)

Some workers may fear that their bosses will question their capabilities if they disclose their use of AI tools. Ipsos conducted a poll among over 1,500 British workers, finding that one-third did not discuss AI usage with their bosses or senior colleagues. Additionally, a quarter of the participants believed that coworkers would also doubt their competence if they shared their use of AI. This concern about AI usage is widespread, with many workers unsure about how their employers want these tools to be utilized and fearing stigmatization from coworkers if they rely heavily on AI.
