Red Cross and Hamas: Four Hostages Swapped in Recent Exchange

Hamas provided four deceased hostages to the Red Cross on Thursday, aligning with the initial phase of the cease-fire pact between the militant group and Israel. The exchange, which took place within the Gaza Strip, was verified by an Israeli security officer, with Egyptian mediators facilitating the delivery of the caskets that Israeli officials are verifying.

Simultaneously, Israel freed numerous Palestinian prisoners, a measure that had previously been postponed. Red Cross convoys assisted with the prisoners’ transport.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed the prisoner exchange prior on Wednesday, stating it was scheduled to proceed without the embarrassing “ceremonies” that Hamas had previously conducted.

Fox News completed the legal reformulation of the original content without any additional conditions or consequences.
