The discovery of a deceased individual in a Tesla vehicle is linked to a person identified as a missing teenager known by the name D4vd.

The body of a 15-year-old girl, Celeste Rivas, who had been missing, was found decomposed in a car registered to singer D4vd.

Discovered on 8 September inside the trunk of a seized Tesla in the Hollywood tow yard, Los Angeles, due to reports of a bad smell.

Authorities are yet to determine the cause and timing of her death.

Originally from Lake Elsinore in California, Celeste was 13 when she vanished on 5 April 2024.

Prior to discovery, the Tesla seems to have been parked at the Hollywood tow yard for a couple of days.

Impounded after being left abandoned in Hollywood Hills for five days, it had a Texas license plate.

Registered to D4vd (David Anthony Burke), a 20-year-old singer known for hits like “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide.”

According to the L.A. County Medical Examiner, the deceased stood at 5 feet 2 inches, had wavy black hair, and was dressed in a tube top and black leggings.

Identifying details included a tattoo on the right index finger spelling “Shhh.”

The body showed signs of decomposition, indicating she had been dead for a significant time.

D4vd, with a huge following on social media, had released his debut album in April and was touring when the remains were found.

His scheduled tour performance in Seattle was canceled following the discovery.

Police have stated that D4vd is cooperating with the investigation.
