NASA’s private lunar spacecraft successfully touches down on the moon – DW – February 3, 2025

A private spacecraft from the United States has made the first ever uncrewed lunar landing successful on Sunday, marking the second commercial lunar landing.

The Blue Ghost, a spacecraft belonging to Firefly Aerospace, made its landing near the site of an ancient volcanic vent in the large Mare Crisium basin, which is located in the moon’s Earth-facing side.
