Israeli forces have targeted Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza as the initial phase of the ceasefire agreement concludes without reaching a consensus. Israel claims Hamas is responsible for not agreeing to a US-backed offer to extend the truce which did not include Israel’s pledge to cease the conflict.
