An inquiry was launched on the 21st of February to examine allegations of sexual assault and rape involving a previous staff member of Notre-Dame de Bétharram school located in the southwestern region of France. Prime Minister of France, François Bayrou, whose offspring once studied at the aforementioned school, has been receiving more attention due to a former instructor’s accusation claiming that he and his spouse neglected to address years of abuse.
