The police reported that a terrorist got off a bus, stabbed multiple civilians, and was subsequently neutralized by a security guard and a civilian.
This incident marks the first deadly attack since a ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas took effect on January 19.
The stabbing took place amidst stalled negotiations regarding the next stage of the deal, following the conclusion of the first six-week phase of the ceasefire over the weekend.
