Bomb blast at Continental structure – Reports – 3rd June 2025

Firefighters in Hannover, Germany were dispatched to a Continental building following a reported explosion on Thursday morning. The building, which houses tire and auto parts manufacturing, was the site of the incident.
Several people sustained minor injuries and received medical attention from paramedics, as confirmed by a spokesperson to Germany’s DPA news agency.
Key Details:
At approximately 10:00 a.m. (0900 UTC/GMT), a heating boiler on the sixth floor of Continental’s building exploded, with part of the roof subsequently catching fire.
Residents in the vicinity reported hearing a loud bang associated with the explosion.
Photos from the scene revealed broken windows on the sixth floor, with shards of glass scattered onto the street, which was then sealed off by firefighting teams.
