President Donald Trump views the trade conflict as a means to pressure Mexico into taking more measures to combat the influx of illicit drugs into the United States. BBC correspondent Quentin Sommerville embarked on a journey to the US-Mexico border where he encountered individuals involved in fentanyl smuggling before engaging in conversations with addicts in Philadelphia. Through this exploration, he encounters some of the individuals responsible for the circulation of these dangerous substances and confronts them about the mortality associated with their actions. The documentary’s cameraman is Darren Conway.
