The attack led to the deaths of at least eight people, including five children, as Palestinians observed the beginning of Eid Al-Fitr. This incident occurred while both Hamas and Israel acknowledged receipt of a new truce proposal from mediators, which aims to temporarily halt the violence in Gaza during the holiday period.
