BBC correspondent are in Myanmar’s capital Nay Pyi Taw to report on the devastation caused by a powerful earthquake that struck on Friday.
The earthquake hit central Myanmar, close to the city of Mandalay, more than 200km (125 miles) from Nay Pyi Taw.
A local resident reported difficulty in finding sleep and struggling to rebuild due to the aftershocks. Temporary hospitals have been established after an emergency department collapsed.
Myanmar has seen over 1,700 fatalities from the earthquake, with thousands more injured.
