The most substantial event is set to take place on the National Mall in Washington DC, featuring congressional speakers such as Jamie Raskin, Maxwell Frost, and Ilhan Omar. Protesters claim Trump, along with figures like Elon Musk and his wealthy allies, is undertaking an unprecedented power grab. They accuse the administration of dismantling social services and public protections to finance tax cuts for billionaires. The protests follow a decline in Trump’s approval ratings, dropping to 43%, his lowest since taking office, as reported by a Reuters poll.
