Countries commit additional support to Sudan on two-year conflict anniversary

A gathering of representatives from different countries, along with the European Union and the African Union, took place in London on Tuesday. Their focus was on committing substantial financial support to Sudan, a nation currently experiencing the world’s most severe humanitarian crisis due to an ongoing civil war. This conflict, between the Sudanese armed forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, began on April 15, 2023, has already resulted in a significant loss of life and massive displacement without any apparent end in sight as it enters its third year.
