Attackers Lead to the Deaths of Over 56 Individuals in Central Nigeria

The Benue state governor’s office in Nigeria has reported that attacks carried out by nomadic cattle herders resulted in the deaths of at least 56 people in central Nigeria in a single night. Land use competition, which has long been a cause of tension between predominantly Muslim pastoralists and predominantly Christian farmers, is believed to be the reason behind these attacks.
