Since the conflict in Ukraine, Central Asia has become a significant focal point for investment opportunities. Leading the charge is Kazakhstan, which has secured £15.7 billion worth of projects in 2024, representing 63% of all investments in the region.
The European Union stands as the largest contributor of investments, making up 43%, with Russia following closely at 22%.
