South Korea’s ex-president, Moon Jae-in, faces indictment on charges related to alleged corruption, as announced by prosecutors on Thursday.
According to the Jeonju District Prosecutors’ Office, Moon stands accused of Bef acquisition donations totaling 217 million won (roughly €134,000, or $152,000) linked to securing a job for his son-in-law at an airline.
This development occurs just six weeks ahead of South Korea’s general election.
