Trump pushes Zelensky for a Russian-Ukrainian truce agrees

On this day, American President Mr. Donald Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with Ukrainian President Mr. Volodymyr Zelensky. There were claims of disparaging remarks about Ukraine’s trajectory and even hinted at halting negotiations for the cessation of hostilities between Russia and Ukraine. Prior to this outburst, the American Deputy Chief, Mr. JD Vance, brought up the notion of a “land swap” as a component of a potential agreement, a proposal that did not sit well with Zelensky. The Ukrainian president staunchly refused to cede Crimea, a region forcibly taken over by Russia in the previous decade, as part of any deal.
