North Korea admits, for the first time, to sending troops to Russia’s Kursk region.

North Korea has officially acknowledged for the first time on Monday that it has deployed troops to Russia to assist in its ongoing conflict with Ukraine. While US, South Korean, and Ukrainian intelligence agencies had previously reported that approximately 10,000 to 12,000 troops had been dispatched by Pyongyang, North Korea had neither confirmed nor denied these claims until now.
