Kamala Harris is set to step back into the political spotlight on Wednesday night to deliver a sharp critique of Donald Trump, warning that his presidency has put the US at risk of a constitutional crisis. Since her departure from the White House in January, Harris has remained mostly out of the public eye, following her defeat to Trump. However, with Trump having recently celebrated 100 days in office with a rally in Michigan, Harris is expected to forcefully denounce the president’s power grabs and calls for Americans to protect their rights and freedoms under threat. Her comments will come as she is considering a run for California’s term-limited governor, Gavin Newsom, or another presidential campaign in 2028.
