A 65-year-old man’s body was discovered within a suburban home in Homebush West, located in western Sydney. Emergency services responded to welfare concerns on Friday night at approximately 11:30 PM. Upon arrival, police found the deceased man’s body inside the premises.
A 31-year-old man was apprehended at the scene and later transported to a police station, though he has not been charged as of yet. According to investigators, the two men were acquainted. Forensic examination of the property commenced as officers established a crime scene.
The investigation into the man’s death is being led by homicide detectives from the New South Wales squad, who are collaborating with local officers. An update regarding the ongoing investigation is anticipated to be released by the police on Saturday afternoon.
