The result of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest was decided in the final moments on Sunday. Austria secured the lead just ahead of Israel, achieving their first victory since 2014 when Conchita Wurst, a bearded drag performer, triumphed. JJ, the Austrian contestant, claimed the top spot with his operatic composition, “Wasted Love”, during the world’s largest live music television event.
