On Monday, China’s commerce ministry announced anti-dumping duties ranging up to 75% on polyformaldehyde copolymer imports originating from the US, EU, Taiwan, and Japan. This action comes after an investigation into claims of dumping practices in the trade of the plastic material, which is commonly used in the production of auto parts and medical devices. The new tariffs are set to be implemented immediately.
