French and British Approaches to Foreign Affairs Met with Criticism from Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized France, the UK, and Canada on Thursday for threatening to take coordinated actions against Israel if the blockade on aid entering Gaza continues, calling them “on the wrong side of humanity” following the fatal shooting of two Israeli embassy aides in Washington, DC. On Tuesday, the UK halted trade talks with Israel and imposed sanctions on West Bank settlers. The European Union also mentioned that it would reassess its relationship with Israel due to the ongoing siege on Gaza.
