Kyiv experienced a significant Russian drone and missile attack early Saturday morning, prompting many residents to seek refuge in subway stations. Two individuals were treated for injuries, and air defense forces were mobilized to counter the assault. Mayor Vitaly Klitschko stated that drones struck an apartment block in Solomianskyi district, leaving several people injured. Tymur Tkachenko, the city’s civil and military administration head, reported fires in Sviatochynskyi district and missile debris in Obolonskyi district. Just hours before, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the return of 390 prisoners of war to Russia as part of a prisoner exchange agreement.
