The teen, Pheobe Bishop, was last seen on May 15 at approximately 8:30am near Bundaberg airport, with no reports of her since. Authorities are treating the disappearance as suspicious, as surveillance footage shows she did not enter the airport or check in for her flight to Western Australia. Queensland police are conducting comprehensive land, water, and aerial searches in the Good Night Scrub national park, about an hour from where she was last spotted.

Pheobe’s family has issued a plea for anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. They describe her as a vibrant and loved individual with a strong spirit and urge anyone who may have heard from her to contact the police.

Senior Constable Matthew Baker, the search coordinator, stated that no one is currently in custody in relation to the disappearance and no items of interest have been found. The police continue to emphasize the importance of information from the public. The investigation is ongoing, involving various specialized units and seized items such as a car believed to have transported Pheobo to the airport.

Family, friends, and locals are showing support, with Pheobe’s mother suggesting the community turn on their porch lights to guide her daughter home. Social media is filled with messages of love and concern from those close to Pheobe. The investigation remains Open, encompassing interviews and examination of Pheobe’s living surroundings and property.

Police urge anyone who may have been in the Good Night Scrub area or have any dashcam or CCTV footage from May 15 to come forward. The appeal includes specific areas such as Mingo Road and Gayndah Road. The dedicated teams working on the case include child protection, crime investigation, homicide units, and specialist police. Phee’s disappearance is causing significant concern, and efforts to locate her continue with no signs of slowing down.”
