Trump contemplating further sanctions on Moscow

Donald Trump informed media he was “unsatisfied with what Putin is doing,” and responded “absolutely” when asked if he was pondering additional sanctions on Russia.

His remarks followed Russia’s largest-ever aerial assault targeting Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in 2022.

“I’ve known him a long time, always gotten along with him, but he’s sending rockets into cities and killing people and I don’t like it at all,” he stated.

“We’re in the middle of talking and he’s firing rockets into Kyiv and other cities. I don’t like it at all. And I’m surprised. I’m very surprised.”

Trump: Full conquest of Ukraine risks Russia’s fall

US President Donald Trump called Russian President Vladimir Putin “crazy” after Moscow’s deadly strikes on Ukraine, which killed at least 13. This violence occurred during a mass prisoner exchange.

“I always said he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a part, and it seems true, but if he tries, it’ll result in the collapse of Russia!” Trump posted on Truth Social.

Taking a personal stance, he added, “I’ve always maintained a decent relationship with Vladimir Putin, but something has changed within him. He’s gone absolutely CRAZY!” This represents a growing frustration towards Moscow.

He criticized Putin for “unnecessarily killing a lot of people” with attacks on Ukrainian cities “without justification.”
