Chile Earthquake Disrupts Live Television Broadcast

During a live TV broadcast in Chile’s northern city of Copiapó, a magnitude 6.4 earthquake occurred. At that moment, Chilean politician and presidential candidate, Carolina Toha, was discussing her campaign proposals with two journalists. As the studio started shaking, all three hurriedly exited the studio as the tremors continued, causing equipment to fall on the set.
