They posted a photo showing individuals wearing life vests with their hands raised. However, this information could not be independently verified. Greta Thunberg, a climate activist, is one of the individuals on board the vessel, which is reportedly off the coast of Egypt. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz previously instructed the military to prevent the ship from breaking the Gaza blockade. Israel argues that the blockade is necessary to prevent weapons from reaching Hamas.
