Trump confirms US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear sites
President Donald Trump stated that the United States conducted attacks on three nuclear sites in Iran, one of which was located at Fordo.
Trump posted on his Truth Social account that “a full payload of bombs was dropped” on the site, known to be located several dozen meters underground, which makes it more challenging to attack.
According to the post, all planes involved in the strikes successfully exited Iranian airspace.
“Congratulations to our great American warriors,” Trump asserted, adding that “it is now time for peace.”
The effects of the strikes remain unknown.
