A study suggests that the reduction in funding for the US Agency for International Development (USAID) by the Trump administration, which is responsible for 40 percent of global humanitarian aid, could result in 14 million fatalities and possibly “halt — and even reverse — two decades of progress in health among vulnerable populations.”
