Pyongyang unveils large coastal resort, focusing on attracting Russian visitors

North Korea showcased a vast resort on its eastern coast on Wednesday, with state media announcing plans to welcome Russian tourists later in the month. Dubbed “North Korea’s Waikiki” by South Korean media, the Wonsan Kalma region can accommodate up to 20,000 individuals and is being promoted as a top-tier vacation spot.
