Surfer Darcy Deefholts, 19, was found safe on a remote Australian island after going missing during a surfing session near Wooli Beach in New South Wales. His disappearance prompted a search involving police and marine rescue teams. Despite the calm sea conditions, Deefholts was discovered approximately 8 miles away on North Solitary Island the following morning. His father, Terry Deefholts, expressed relief at the news of his son’s safety. The family believed that he had been swept away while surfing and was unable to return to shore.
