Starting on Monday, an excavation is set to begin at a former mother and baby home in western Ireland, concerning an unmarked mass burial site where it is suspected hundreds of infants and young children’s remains are buried. This investigation, which is scheduled to last two years, involves both Irish and international experts scrutinizing the Tuam site. The discovery was initially made more than ten years ago by an amateur historian. Speaking to FRANCE 24’s Sharon Gaffney is Anna Corrigan, whose two siblings could potentially have been buried at the Tuam site.
