Cataclysmic Fire Engulfs Central Stage at Tomorrowland Festival Days Prior to Opening | Global News

A major festival in Belgium, known as Tomorrowland, has been severely impacted as a huge fire destroyed its main stage just days before it was set to begin. The festival, which is as large as Glastonbury and attracts around 400,000 people across two weekends, features performances by big names in dance music, including David Guetta. Footage from the scene shows a stage engulfed in flames and billowing black smoke. Despite the incident, no injuries have been reported, and the festival’s campsite, DreamVille, is still expected to host 38,000 festivalgoers. Organizers expressed their devastation over the loss of a stage that took years to build, with spokesperson Debby Wilmsen stating that several people are deeply upset by the tragedy.
