Family of Virginia Giuffre, a woman who accused both Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual assault, surrounds her as she ends her life by suicide.

A 41-year-old woman’s family has confirmed her tragic suicide at her farm in Western Australia.
Virginia Giuffre, who accused Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, has died by suicide. Giuffre was one of the most prominent victims of Epstein and partnered Ghislaine Maxwell. She claimed they trafficked her to Prince Andrew when she was 17, an allegation the prince denied.

Giuffre’s family, stating she was a fierce warrior against sexual abuse and trafficking, said she died in Western Australia, where she had been living. Police confirmed the death of a 41-year-old woman, stating there was no foul play.

Giuffre lived with her husband Robert and children in North Perth, but they had reportedly separated. Recently, she posted about a serious car accident on Instagram, which her family didn’t want to go public.

Documents from 2019 indicate Giuffre met Ghislaine Maxwell in the early 2000s, when working at Mar-a-Lago resort and spending time with Epstein and Maxwell. She met Prince Andrew around then, as seen in a photo from 2001. Giuffre advocated for Epstein’s prosecution and in 2022 settled a lawsuit against Prince Andrew without his admission of fault, reportedly worth $12m.

Giuffre became a significant voice in the Me Too movement following her accusations.
