Malaysia’s “aquatic predators” are tackling invasive species one catch after another | Environmental Updates

In Puchong, Malaysia, a group of men are engaged in a unique mission to remove invasive fish species from the Klang River. Led by fisherman and former healthcare consultant, Mohamad Haziq A Rahman, these dedicated individuals have banded together to combat the invasive species that pose a significant threat to Malaysia’s biodiversity. The team, known as the foreign fish hunter squad, supports the rejuvenation of Malaysia’s rivers, one caught fish at a time.
