England’s forward Marcus Rashford is called back to the national team by coach Thomas Tuchel a year after his last appearance.
The future of the Aston Villa forward had been in question following his loan move from Manchester United in January.
Meanwhile, Tuchel also recalled Ajax’s Jordan Henderson to the midfield and introduced uncapped defenders Myles Lewis-Skelly and Dan Burn to the team.
England will be facing Albania at Wembley Stadium next Friday, followed by a match against Latvia three days later.

Rashford, who scored eight goals in 60 appearances for England, was not included in Gareth Southgate’s squad for Euro 2024 due to a slump in form at Manchester United. This loan spell at Villa has seen his performances improve significantly, contributing four assists and helping his team reach the Champions League quarterfinals.
