Made in Palestine is a documentary short that takes viewers inside the Hirbawi textile factory, the last functioning producer of the traditional Palestinian keffiyeh in Hebron, located in the occupied West Bank.
Operated by three brothers who are the sons of founder Hajj Yasser Hirbawi, the family business has maintained this craft since its inception in 1961. The brothers emphasize that the factory holds a significance far beyond its role as a workplace.
It serves as a living emblem of resistance, memory, and pride, intricately woven into the fabric of Palestinian heritage and identity.
Directed by Mariam Dwedar.
