Fighting
- Russian forces managed to fend off four drones heading towards Moscow, according to the city’s mayor, Sergei Sobyanin. There were no initial reports of damage or casualties, although emergency services were attending to the situation.
- In Russia’s Bryansk region, Ukrainian forces launched an attack on a factory, significantly damaging the plant without causing any casualties, as stated by Governor Alexander Bogomaz.
- Moscow’s Ministry of Defence reported the destruction of 13 Ukrainian drones overnight in Russia’s Rostov, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions.
- A Russian drone attack in Kyiv’s Obolonskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts injured at least 11 people, including two children, according to Timur Tkachenko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.
- Cherkasy in central Ukraine experienced a Russian drone attack, resulting in one person being injured and damage to residential buildings and infrastructure.
- Ukrainian forces successfully intercepted 69 out of 165 drones launched by Russia overnight, according to the country’s Air Force.
