A significant drone attack on Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, has been reported by Mayor Vitali Klitschko, alongside a targeted attack on a maternity ward in Odesa.
According to Agence France-Presse and an unnamed official, the strike on the Odesa maternity ward and medical facilities resulted in one death and four injuries.
In Kyiv, emergency services responded to four districts shortly after midnight on Tuesday, as stated by Klitschko on Telegram.
These incidents follow the largest drone attack on Ukraine by Russia on Monday, with Moscow claiming these strikes were retaliatory actions for Ukraine’s recent incursions into Russian territory.
Following Ukraine’s “Operation Spider Web,” US President Donald Trump discussed the situation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who pledged a strong response to Ukraine’s aggressive acts.
Across Ukraine, air raid alerts have been activated, extending to the Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv regions in the east, as illustrated on the country’s official air aid map.
